American Rescue Plan Act of 2021
The Shattuck Public Library received a grant this fall through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021. The ARPA grant allowed us to upgrade our four existing surveillance cameras and add four additional cameras to the library property. This grant did not cover data drop or installation, so our wonderful Friends of the Library donated the remaining cost. Through this grant we were also able to replace computer desks and seating in the children’s section with furniture made of materials that can be easily cleaned and sanitized to help prevent the spread of viruses. This project was funded in part by our Friends of the Shattuck Library and the Oklahoma Department of Libraries with a Federal grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act.”
